Banking sector in Slovakia
Years of development for leading Slovak banks — ČSOB, Poštová banka, 365.bank and Zuno. An environment where stability and security aren't optional.
Backend development & software architecture
We design and build backend systems and microservices architecture in Java and Python — from the first line of code to production deployment in a containerized environment.
Proven in practice
Years of development in environments where code quality, reliability and security genuinely matter — from banking, through telecommunications, to large-scale retail networks.
Years of development for leading Slovak banks — ČSOB, Poštová banka, 365.bank and Zuno. An environment where stability and security aren't optional.
We contributed to the development of a global wealth-management platform used by leading players such as UK bank Barclays or Swiss private bank Bergos.
We developed an application for a large fuel station network featuring a custom loyalty program and gamification elements — proof that backend work isn't just about transactions, but also about a fun user experience.
We currently deliver backend solutions for the telecom operator 4ka.
What we offer
Comprehensive backend development coverage — from architectural design, through implementation, to operations and knowledge transfer.
Design and implementation of server applications and APIs in Java (Spring Boot) and Python, with an emphasis on readability, testability and long-term maintainability.
Breaking down monoliths into well-bounded services, designing communication patterns (REST, event-driven, message queues), and solutions for scaling under real-world load.
Design of relational and NoSQL data models, query performance optimization, and migrations of existing systems without downtime.
Dockerizing applications, designing Kubernetes manifests, and CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable production deployments.
An independent view of your existing system, identifying risks and bottlenecks, and designing target architecture and a migration roadmap.
Individual and team mentoring in Java and Python — from fundamentals to advanced architectural patterns, code review, and sharing best practices.
Tools we use
Our approach
We don't just focus on making code work today — we care about how it can be extended and maintained two years from now. That's why we emphasize clean architecture, clear documentation, and transferring know-how to your team, not just delivering a finished product.
Quality as a standard, not an exception
Code without tests is just a promise that it works. That's why testing has been part of our development process from day one, not an afterthought before delivery — it lets us change and extend systems with confidence that nothing broke.
Education built on solid foundations
We don't believe in fast-track courses that teach you to assemble a website from a tutorial in a few weeks. Programming is a craft built on solid foundations — algorithms, data structures, and the principles of theoretical computer science — which we then translate into real, maintainable and secure solutions. We mentor individually and in small groups, with an emphasis on understanding principles, not just the syntax of one framework.
An independent outside perspective
We help companies with an independent view of their technology and processes — from assessing existing architecture, through preparing systems for growth, to providing a foundation for important technology decisions. The goal is to give both leadership and the development team a clear, understandable basis for decision-making — not just another technical document in a drawer.
A modern approach to development
In development, we regularly work with modern AI tools, including Claude — they speed up prototyping, generating solution drafts, and routine parts of implementation. Architectural decisions, code review, testing, and responsibility for the resulting quality, however, always remain with an experienced engineer. AI helps us deliver faster — not less thoroughly.
We use AI tools for prototypes, API design, and first versions of code — the time saved is reinvested into more thorough testing and fine-tuning the details.
Key architectural choices, security, and code quality always go through human review — AI is a helper in implementation, not the author of decisions.
On projects, we can clearly state where and how AI helps in the process — without hiding it, and without pretending it provides quality it doesn't.
